I copied a key card, and it worked great. Much smaller than the one I was issued. Range of read is slightly reduced, but it's acceptable. Couldn't copy a GM key, but that wasn't surprising, as this one is fairly unusual.

Do not use. Bait and switch, 2 different techs. Ruined $1500 door. Started yelling at me in my own home. Called me a liar, when I questioned the inflated price. Not American born citizens. The phone number is a call center, and techs are independent workers. Told me $160 was a great price just for the deadbolt not including $300 labor to install. Deadbolt is under $20 at Home Depot. Ck on all reviews not just their own people leaving 5* reviews.

Wish I had worked with the new car dealer for a remote key, it would have only cost $40 more. I purchased a key for a customer of mine that lives out of state. The key did not work once the customer had drove home. I called and spoke to somebody that told me to bring the key back with the original receipt and they would refund me. Took the key in today for a refund after having the customer mail it back. They inspected the key and acknowledged it was cut wrong. They then told me that no one that worked there told me I could receive a refund. After arguing with the Owner and Manager in front of other customers the Owner agreed to offer me half of my money back. The Owner kept yelling from the back of the store "I have a right to eat as well"? I had to buy a new key from the dealer in the mean time. I'm out half the money from the key I bought at Mac's plus the key I bought from the dealer. I wish I had bought the dealer key to begin with. I guess a $90 lesson to never do business with this company again, could have been worse. Enjoy the vibe if you disregard this warning.

Eu passei pela loja hoje para substituir a bateria da minha chave eletrônica do carro. O senhor no balcão me pediu para esperar até que sua cliente retornasse do carro dela. Eu estava bem em esperar e lhe disse por que tinha vindo à loja. Ele disse que poderia terminar isso antes que a outra cliente voltasse. Ele não exagerou! Muito rápido, amigável e profissional. A cereja do bolo? O preço era o mesmo que tinha sido nos últimos anos! Este grupo também me ajudou há alguns anos quando fiquei trancado para fora da minha casa. Eles me colocaram para dentro rapidinho! Você não pode errar com a Mac's Lock & Key em Bountiful, Utah.

Desonesto e absolutamente ridículo. A Murdock Chevrolet na rua cortará suas chaves fornecidas por 15 dólares! E pode encontrar o controle remoto online por 20. Trouxe minha própria chave e controle remoto que comprei online. A loja se recusou a cortar minha própria chave alegando "muitos problemas voltam com isso, só podemos cortar nossas próprias chaves que você compra de nós". Eu paguei 20 dólares pelo meu controle remoto e o programei eu mesmo. Só precisava que fosse cortada. Quando perguntei quanto custaria a chave deles e o corte, era cerca de 200 dólares para eles. O que me diz que você é uma empresa gananciosa que não fará nada por ninguém, a menos que isso lhes traga mais dinheiro. Não use esses caras por nenhum motivo. Vá para outro lugar. *mensagem para o proprietário*** Se seu funcionário tivesse me dito que era porque você não ganhava dinheiro fazendo isso, eu não deixaria uma avaliação. Mas a óbvia mentira de "muitos problemas voltam" é absurda.

COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS STAY AWAY! We had used Mac's for years in our commercial complex, and over that time they became increasingly difficult to work with. They have held our key chart hostage, and refused to let us access it, as we transition to a new contractor. If you work with them currently, or are forced to work with them, INSIST that you retain possession of the chart, or they will use it against you. We now have to invest thousands of dollars into a new key chart, for absolutely no reason. Their response time was astronomical, with little to no communication or coordination. They would show up for urgent jobs outside of business hours, or with no notice, and leave quickly when maintenance was not on site to respond. Their customer service was very rude and demeaning, and on multiple occasions they would tell us that we didn't have a contract with them, and refused to look for it. I would need to ask for the specific person I normally worked with, and most times he was not there, forcing me to come back on multiple occasions. I personally have used them for personal use as well, and have had the same experience, rude and unhelpful customer service, and long response time. Stay away from this company if you can.
